Is it really free?
Building, editing and exporting are free. To take real orders you need a Shopify plan, which you pay Shopify for. Turnkey earns a referral fee from Shopify when you open a store through our link.
Do I need to know design or code?
No. You type a sentence and the AI writes the first draft of everything. After that you edit by clicking on the words, or by telling the AI what to change.
Where do the products come from?
The AI proposes a range that fits your idea, with a price and a target cost for each item. Every product has supplier search links, so you can find the real thing, order a sample and check it against the page before you sell it.
Are the product pictures real photos?
No. Each product is drawn as a packaging mock-up in your brand colours. They are there so you can judge the store. Replace them with photos of the real items before you launch.
Can I use my own brand name?
Yes. Add it before you build, or change it later in the studio. The AI can also suggest alternatives.
Is the store mine?
Yes. Download the products, the copy and a preview of the storefront whenever you like and use them wherever you like. Your drafts are kept in this browser, so they are there when you come back.
Will I make money?
Nobody can promise that, and you should be wary of anyone who does. A good-looking store is the start. Sales come from products people want, fair prices and steady marketing.
What is doing the writing?
A large language model writes the brand, the copy and the product range from your sentence, in real time. If the model cannot be reached, a built-in offline engine assembles a simpler draft so you can still use the studio. The build receipt always says which one built your store.
